Role and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with functional engineers and software architects to translate functional requirements into clear, actionable software requirements.
• Independently drive the development, testing, and delivery of high-quality software solutions.
• Provide clear and transparent updates on the quality, status, and timing of deliverables.
• Work closely with hardware systems, including serial/ethernet communication and debugging physical setups in a cleanroom environment.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with Git for version control.
• Proven ability to write simple, maintainable, and readable code.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams (e.g., with physicists and mechanical engineers).
• Hands-on experience with hardware integration and driver development.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and mathematical libraries like NumPy is a bonus.
• Knowledge of software architecture and experience with Scrum/Agile/SAFe methodologies is an advantage.

Benefits

• Salary range € 4,800 - € 5,700
