Are you a technically minded Software Engineer who enjoys building robust solutions and wants to make a real impact in a fast-growing organisation? We are currently seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career, building on a strong technical foundation while gaining exposure to complex systems, cross-functional collaboration and meaningful projects. You will play a key role in designing, developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions that underpin our operations and future growth.
The successful candidate will be based at Head Office in Killarney, Co. Kerry, reporting directly to the IT Manager.
Responsibilities
The Software Engineer will be responsible for the following:
- Design, implement and testing of software applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Contribute to the overall technical strategy and architecture of the company.
- Any other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field.
- Java, Spring Boot.
- Knowledge of PL/SQL, Docker, Azure, Linux.
- CI/CD pipeline experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
