About the organisation

What you'll do
- Design and develop Java-based applications using Spring Boot, Kafka, and modern middleware patterns
- Build and enhance client-side features using Angular, NGRX, and standard web technologies (HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript)
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and Agile delivery practices, including Jenkins-based workflows
- Participate in code reviews, testing (including ATDD), and performance optimisation across monolithic and microservices architectures
What you need
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and messaging technologies such as Kafka
- Solid front-end development skills with Angular and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Experience working in Agile environments with CI/CD tooling (e.g. Jenkins)
- Deep understanding of scalable application design and object-oriented programming principles
The practical bits
Salary: €70,000–€75,000 plus 15% bonus and 9%–20% non-contributory pension (scaled with age)
Location: Galway
Working setup: Hybrid, with one week per month in the office
