Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Firewall Engineer based in Vilnius, with the flexibility to work remotely part of the time. The Firewall Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining firewall solutions to ensure optimal network security. Daily tasks include identifying and resolving network and security issues, analyzing risks, managing security policies, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance cybersecurity measures is also a key responsibility.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Network Engineering and Network Security concepts and technologies
- Strong understanding of Cybersecurity and Information Security practices
- Advanced Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving network issues
- Familiarity with firewall implementation and maintenance tools
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment and manage hybrid work arrangements
- Relevant certifications such as CCIE, JNCIE or equivalent are a plus
- Experience in IT infrastructure and network protection in a corporate setting
