We’re looking for a strong Java Engineer. This role is for someone technically strong who wants real ownership: influencing architecture, building features end-to-end, and helping shape a global product.

You’ll join a small, high-impact engineering team building a modern microservices platform where speed, pragmatism, and quality matter equally.

Based in Amsterdam. And 32 hours per week is possible.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build features end-to-end (scale-up envvironment)

• Help shape technical architecture and engineering direction

• Work closely with product to challenge ideas and improve customer experience

• Contribute to a platform powering global services

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years building production Java applications

• Strong experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework

• Experience with Docker and CI/CD

• Cloud deployment experience (GCP preferred)

• Solid understanding of API design and software architecture

• Currently living in the Netherlands

AI-Driven Development

We are looking for a developer who actively uses AI tools such as (as a minimum) Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar technologies as part of their daily development workflow. You see AI not just as a convenience, but as a way to improve productivity, code quality, and learning speed. Curiosity and a willingness to continuously grow by leveraging new AI capabilities in software development are highly valued.
