EuroCTP is a Dutch company which aims to facilitate access to EU real time market data for equities and ETFs. To do so, we are building a reliable, compliant real time consolidation of EU data, attached with related services designed for and with the market community.  

EuroCTP has been selected by the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) as the first consolidated tape provider (CTP) for Shares and ETFs in the European Union. 

EuroCTP was incorporated on August 23rd, 2023, in the Netherlands. Its shareholders are 14 European exchanges and exchange groups, operating regulated markets in 25 EU countries.

About the role:

We are seeking for a bright and motivated (Middle) DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience to build and operate Central IT components. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and passionate about optimizing development and operations processes. 

As DevOps Engineer you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining EuroCTP IT infrastructure and surrounding components. The candidate will work in strong collaboration with Business and Technology stakeholders as well as engineering teams from trusted vendors. 

Responsibilities:

As DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for components such as CI/CD pipeline, IAM, Security and Monitoring tools.

You will be involved in Software Deployment and Production Support. Working together with Support Teams the successful candidate will participate in day-to-day support activities, overseeing Incident Resolution and Problem Management process, as well as ensuring the tools are in line with immediate needs of the respective teams.

Candidate requirements:

Education and Experience 

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 
• Work experience of 3-5 years as DevOps Engineer 
• Successful DevOps strategy implementation in FinTech is a plus 

Technical Expertise 

• Experience working with AWS as well as bare metal infrastructure 
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible 
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes 
• Background in GitOps tools such as ArgoCD 
• Expertise in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Action, GitLab CI/CD pipeline or Tekton) 
• Understanding IAM principles and experience working with IAM solution such as Keycloak. Expertise in implementing security measures. 
• Experience working with log and monitoring tools such as DataDog 

Soft skills 

• Excellent communication skills – we anticipate intensive Vendor collaboration; 
• Proactive leadership and coordination approach; 
• Problem solving and troubleshooting mindset. 

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and practices
• Experience in Software Development and Continuous Integration workflows
• Strong System Administration skills with a deep understanding of Linux environments
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, collaborating with both on-site and remote teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, containerization, or orchestration tools is a plus
