We are looking for a .NET Software Engineer (Intermediate Level) to join one of our biggest clients, a leading European digital automotive marketplace group, operating large-scale B2B, B2C, and C2B platforms across multiple countries.

Location: Hybrid – Home + Coimbra (1x per month)

What you will do:

• Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of .NET applications and services

• Build and maintain features within a microservices environment

• Learn and work with distributed systems, focusing on scalability, reliability, and resilience

• Develop clean, maintainable, and testable code

• Participate in code reviews alongside senior engineers

• Support and enhance real-time data processing features used across multiple European markets

• Collaborate closely with product, QA, and engineering teams to deliver high‑quality software

• Troubleshoot issues, debug production scenarios, and contribute to system improvements

• Engage in continuous learning and help improve development practices

What you are like:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar

• 1–3+ years of experience in software engineering

• Practical experience with C# and .NET Core / .NET 6+

• Basic understanding of web technologies (REST APIs, HTTP, JSON)

• Familiarity with JavaScript/React or willingness to learn

• Experience with relational databases; NoSQL knowledge is a plus

• Basic understanding of cloud environments (Azure or AWS)

• Interest in distributed systems, messaging, scalability, and reliability

• Knowledge of Clean Code principles and automated testing

• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills
