In this role, you will lead the reporting strategy for the Retail function, ensuring our teams have timely, accurate, and actionable insights. By using centralized Data Lake services and modern analytics applications, you will transform raw data into meaningful dashboards, analyses, and recommendations that support both daily operations and long‑term business strategy.
As a Retail Business Analyst, you will be responsible for the following:
- Establish and own the reporting and data analysis strategy for the respective function, working within the bid management team, by identifying and addressing the main gaps and needs of the functional business team related to data-driven digital transformation and informed decision-making
- Coordinate the development of reports, dashboards and analyses, ensuring the timely delivery of relevant data for essential business processes. Provide ad-hoc queries and reports to support emerging business needs, strategic meetings, and decision-making
- Perform in-depth analysis for key business questions by combining data from multiple sources to generate actionable insights. Evaluate and highlight business opportunities based on data and make concrete recommendations
- Integrate reports, data, and findings into retail decision-making processes, in the form of dashboards, presentations, or reports, as appropriate. Collaborate with the functional business team to effectively leverage data to support decisions
- Lead the process of continuous improvement of the data analysis skills of the local retail organization, by offering regular trainings and coaching sessions on the use of Data Lake, Power BI and self-service reporting solutions (including for new employees), to facilitate the independent use of analytical tools by the functional team
- Collaborate with Digital Factory to facilitate the efficient development and implementation of scalable analytics by identifying local deployment requirements and actively promoting the use of core analytics within the functional business team
To be successful in the role, you should have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Intelligence, Computer Science or Engineering field
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience as a data analyst or developer
- Experience in data analysis, data visualization and analytics, preferably in an international/multinational environment
- Solid analysis, quantification and problem-solving skills; ability to work in a dynamic environment, managing multiple tasks in parallel;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as data visualization skills; proactive mindset, positive attitude and a strong sense of responsibility and teamwork
- Microsoft Office suite (advanced level)
- Power BI (experience with BI reporting tools (for example, Power BI, Tableau)
- English – Advanced
