Software Engineer

Currently, we are seeking a Java Software Engineer who's eager to continuing to evolve, thrives on challenges, and is ready to embark in a new opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Work across the full stack, from creating interactive user interfaces with modern JavaScript frameworks to developing robust backend services in Java;
• Integrate Java applications with databases like PostgreSQL or MongoDB, ensuring smooth data flow and storage;
• Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies, contributing to the agile development process.
• Implement best practices for clean, testable, and efficient code, including unit testing and code reviews;
• Work with other developers, product owners, and designers to brainstorm and implement effective solutions for complex software challenges;
• Engage with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Git to automate the building, testing, and deployment of Java applications.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in software development with Java (at least Java 11);
• Experience with Microservices Architecture, Cloud Architecture and Container Architecture;
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes;
• Experience with unit tests;
• Fluent level of English (mandatory);
• Fluent level of Portuguese (mandatory);
• It is mandatory to live in Lisbon/Porto or be available for relocation to these locations;
• Available to work in a hybrid environment.
