🚀 About the AssignmentWe are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Java Engineer to join an innovative Robotics team building next‑generation robotic solutions. If you thrive in cloud‑native environments, enjoy solving complex distributed‑system challenges, and want to contribute to real-world robotics, this role is for you.
You’ll design, build, and scale cloud-based backend services powering advanced robotic platforms—working closely with cross-functional teams in a modern, agile environment.
🛠️ What You Will Work On✅ Design & develop backend services using Java (Java 11+)
✅ Build scalable microservices and distributed systems
✅ Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy on AWS using:
– Lambda
– ECS / EKS
– DynamoDB
– S3
– API Gateway
✅ Define & implement CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes)
✅ Support Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)
✅ Engage in code reviews, testing, and performance optimization
✅ Work in an agile, cross-functional robotics development team
✅ Required Skills- Strong proficiency in Java (11+)
- Experience with AWS cloud services (Lambda, ECS/EKS, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway)
- Proven background in distributed systems & microservices
- Skills in Docker & Kubernetes
- CI/CD knowledge (pipelines, automation)
- Familiarity with Terraform / CloudFormation
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities
- Fluent in English (Swedish is a plus)
- Available onsite in Huskvarna 3 days/week
