We’re now looking for an iOS Developer to join our team for the next chapter of our journey.

Your mission:

As an iOS Developer at Sleep Cycle, you’ll work in a cross-functional team that practices continuous discovery and owns outcomes, not just output. You’ll help shape hypotheses, run experiments, and frequently deliver user value through small, impactful feature improvements.

Your key responsibilities:

• Design, build, test, and maintain high-quality native iOS applications
• Collaborate with your team to define and implement features
• Contribute across the stack where it makes sense, with support to grow beyond your core area.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Write well-tested, secure, and scalable code
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot production issues in a shared ownership model
• Work closely with ML Engineers and Researchers to bring models into the app experience

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Comfortable working Swift, SwiftUI, plus some legacy Objective-C.
• Familiarity with modern Git-based workflows, CI/CD, and testing.
• Fluency in English.

Nice to have:

• Backend experience with Python, FastAPI, and Google Cloud (e.g., Datastore, Cloud Storage, BigQuery).
• Willingness to learn and contribute across the stack.
• Interest in product thinking and delivering customer value.
• Experience collaborating in product-driven teams or interest in learning how.
• Demonstrated adaptability, accountability, and initiative in dynamic or evolving product environments.
• Experience supporting and facilitating team development.
