Mechanical Supervisor-Rotating Equipment

Position Summary:

Looking for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to lead workshop operations, maintenance, and overhaul of rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, turbines, and gearboxes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate incoming jobs for repair/overhaul of rotating equipment and define repair scope.
• Assess technical capability, tooling, and capacity before accepting jobs.
• Lead and supervise a team of 5–10 workshop technicians.
• Oversee dismantling, inspection, repair, and reassembly of:
• Centrifugal & multistage pumps
• API/process pumps
• Centrifugal compressors
• Industrial gearboxes
• Provide hands-on technical guidance during equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Verify critical measurements: shaft runout, bearing clearances, rotor alignment, seals, and labyrinths.
• Support rotor handling and balancing operations.
• Develop new workshop facility: define tooling, establish procedures, and implement work standards.
• Interface with clients for technical inspections, clarifications, and QA/QC reporting.
• Ensure compliance with workshop safety procedures and industry best practices.
• Maintain proper documentation of inspections, measurements, and repair actions.

Required Experience:

• 10–15+ years in rotating equipment maintenance and overhaul.
• Strong workshop experience and supervision of technical teams.
• Hands-on experience with pumps, compressors, and gearboxes.
