We are seeking an experienced Certified Scrum Master (CSM) with expertise in banking technology projects to support Agile teams. The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile ceremonies, coach teams on Agile best practices, and ensure timely delivery of sprint objectives. This role requires strong collaboration with Product Owners, Technology Leads, and cross-functional teams to drive Agile execution and improve team performance.
- 6–8 years overall professional experience.
- Scrum Master experience in the banking industry, supporting technology teams.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) required.
- Experience with Payments or Regulatory projects preferred.
- Experience working with high-performing teams in time-sensitive environments.
- Support 1–2 Agile pods/teams of varying complexity.
- Share knowledge, skills, and subject-matter expertise across Agile teams.
- Foster an environment where teams escalate challenges freely.
- Participate as a member of Product Groups/Product Families to promote service quality, innovation, and teamwork.
- Provide thought leadership and Agile execution guidance.
- Stay current on emerging Agile trends, tools, and techniques.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Technology Leads on:
- Sprint planning
- Impediment removal
- Execution tracking
- Sprint planning
- Coordinate and facilitate all Agile ceremonies:
- Daily Stand-ups
- Sprint Planning
- Retrospectives
- PI Planning
- Backlog Grooming
- Daily Stand-ups
- Ensure ceremonies occur on time with full team participation.
- Coach teams on user story creation and Agile best practices.
- Produce management reporting using JIRA, including velocity and performance storytelling.
- Support estimation practices using appropriate methods.
- Work closely with teams on delivery activities and improving Agile maturity.
- Agile methodologies and Scrum framework
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) / Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
- SAFe framework experience
- Strong facilitation, communication, and coaching skills
- Analytical, organizational, and prioritization capabilities
- 3–5 years as a Data Analyst
- Data Analysis, SQL, Azure Big Data
- Data Management methodologies
- Experience with ETL, reporting, or database concepts
- Familiarity with infrastructure projects:
- Data Encryption
- Logging/Monitoring
- Security Tools
- Data Encryption
- Ability to interpret architecture and network documents
- JIRA – Agile project tracking and reporting
- Confluence – Documentation and collaboration
- SQL tools (SQL Developer, TOAD) – optional for data-related projects
- Self-starter, highly organized, attention to detail
- Strong decision-making and judgment
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Strong interpersonal skills and patience with diverse teams
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
