Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and architectures. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in database technologies, ETL processes, and cloud platforms, with a focus on delivering high-quality data solutions to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines using tools such as Pentaho or Apache NiFi
• Develop and optimize complex queries, stored procedures, and functions in Oracle PL/SQL and PostgreSQL
• Build and manage scalable data architectures and data warehousing solutions
• Work with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services to support data processing and storage needs
• Administer and support BI tools such as Qlik Sense and/or Tableau
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver efficient solutions
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance optimization across systems
• Utilize Python or similar scripting languages for automation and data processing tasks

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering or similar technical roles
• Strong proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL and PostgreSQL (procedures, functions, query optimization)
• Expertise in ETL tools such as Pentaho or Apache NiFi
• Experience with BI tools such as Qlik Sense and/or Tableau
• Solid experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and optimization techniques
• Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
