We are looking for dedicated Senior GIS Developer with proven experience, strong hands-on technical skills, and the ability to work onsite at Oman office.

The Senior GIS Developer will playa critical role in maintaining and optimizing Esri and Schneider Electric–based GIS solutions, supporting Utility Network and ArcFM

implementations, and enabling efficient GIS workflows and data governance. In addition, the Senior GIS Developer will support the analysis, design, and implementation of new and complex GIS requirements, ensuring scalable and reliable solutions aligned with business

needs.

Role & Responsibilities:

Enterprise GIS Architecture & Design

• Design and maintain enterprise-level GIS architectures using Arc GIS Enterprise
• Define GIS system integration patterns and technical standards
• Prepare system architecture diagrams, workflows, and technical documentation

Utility Network & ArcFM Services

• Implement, configure, and support Esri Utility Network
• Support migration from Geometric Network to Utility Network
• Configure and maintain ArcFM (Desktop, Web, Mobile, Server)
• Develop and enhance GIS update workflows and QA/QC frameworks

GIS Application Development

• Develop web, desktop, and mobile GIS applications
• Build automation scripts and tools using Python, ArcPy, and ArcGIS JS API
• Support Survey123, Field Maps, dashboards, and custom GIS solutions

Operations, Support & Maintenance

• Administer Arc GIS Enterprise Environments
• Manage enterprise geodatabases (Oracle/ SQL Server)
• Automate reconcile/post, compress, backup, and monitoring processes
• Provide L2/L3 technical support and troubleshooting.
• Provide support for GIS end users in all client’s areas

Training & Knowledge Transfer

• Deliver tailored training sessions for GIS editors, engineers, analysts, and administrators
• Provide hands-on knowledge transfer and documentation.
• Any application, integration, and services must be well-documented.

1. Requirements (Mandatory)

Technical Skills

• The resource is expected to actively design, develop, configure, support, and optimize GIS solutions, not merely perform supervisory or advisory functions.
• The vendor shall provide proven back-office support when ever the developer requires assistance for specific tasks.
• Demonstrated capability in custom application development and automation, including:
• Building custom Desktop and Web applications and services
• Designing and utilizing REST-based services

Hands-on development experience using:

• JavaScript
• Python
• C#.NET

Strong expertise in enterprise database environments, particularly:

• Oracle
• Microsoft SQL Server

Database-related experience including:

• SQL querying, data manipulation (SELECT,INSERT, UPDATE,DELETE), AND joins.
• Ability to create and manage Tables and Views
• Familiarity with development tools such as Visual Studio, and Visual Studio Code.

The proposed resource must meet the following minimum qualifications:

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of development experience
• Demonstrated onsite experience in Oman

Certifications

The proposed Senior GIS Developer must hold the following professional certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT Programming
