Senior Fullstack Developer

• 12 month contract + extension

This role offers the chance to work end-to-end across backend and frontend technologies, solving complex challenges while influencing modern engineering practices.

Your duties will include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Building responsive and user-friendly frontend applications using modern frameworks
• Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices
• Leading technical analysis, design, and development across complex solutions
• Managing releases, deployments, and ongoing production support
• Providing technical leadership, mentoring team members, and driving continuous improvement
• Collaborating with stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions

Skills and Experience we are looking for:

• Strong experience in Java development and/or fullstack engineering
• Experience with Spring framework, APIs, and enterprise integration patterns
• Proficiency in frontend technologies such as JavaScript and modern frameworks (e.g. Angular, Node.js)
• Experience working in Agile environments and delivering through the full software development lifecycle
• Knowledge of databases (e.g. DB2, SQL) and integration technologies
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (e.g. GitLab)
• Ability to solve complex problems and provide technical leadership within a team
