We are now looking for an experienced Software Developer to strengthen our growing software development team. You will be developing software for the industry-leading Simucube products such as our wheelbases and ActivePedal — the software that is the soul of our state-of-the-art force feedback and haptics that immerse the driver in the simulation. While our roots are in sim racing, we are expanding into new simulation categories.

Role In a Nutshell

  • Full-time, permanent role based in Hervanta, Tampere. While we offer flexible working arrangements, we enjoy being together at the office and expect this role to have a regular on-site presence
  • Salary range 4 000–6 000 €/month, depending on experience
  • Hands-on development role with broad ownership of your own area, from embedded systems to user-facing software
  • This application process is anonymous (read more below)

What You'll Be Doing

You will work across a wide range of technologies, from ARM microcontrollers to Windows Qt/QML software, with modern C++ at the core. Depending on your preferences and know-how, you can get your hands on the control systems or UI for the first electronically controlled force feedback pedal in the world, the game compatibility of Simucube devices, or the development of our new products to come. We also embrace new ways of working, including AI-powered tools, which we use as a natural part of our development processes.

We value a proactive, ownership-driven approach to work. Our development team consists of around 15 people and collaboration is at the heart of how we work. We expect people to take initiative, identify what needs to be done, and drive things forward together. In a growth company of our size, everyone is always ready to roll up their sleeves and help each other out.

What We Would Like To See

We wish to find a colleague who has a genuine curiosity towards our technology and a continuous hunger for learning. These will help you thrive in this role:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in software development
  • Technical expertise in modern C++ and understanding of software development processes
  • Understanding of and interest in electronics, including knowledge of using tools such as oscilloscopes is an advantage
  • Experience with ARM controllers or Qt/QML is a big plus
  • Excellent communication skills in English; other language skills are seen as a plus
  • Proactive problem-solving approach, with the ability to identify and act on both challenges and opportunities
  • Above all, we are looking for an experienced professional with the vision and ability to develop processes and a growth mindset.

In Return, We Offer You

  • People-first culture: Our employees are at the heart of everything we do. We offer a range of well-being benefits, including a paid 30-minute mid-day stroll daily, 400€/year well-being allowance (usable for sports, culture, or wellness), an extensive occupational healthcare plan, and access to high-quality sports equipment for borrowing.
  • Flexibility and freedom: We support a healthy work-life balance through flexible working hours and hybrid work options. You have a lot of freedom and responsibility in your daily work, but we believe that the best results are achieved together.
  • Continuous learning: We believe in supporting your growth. You can choose training or education programs we will happily cover, and we provide access to professional literature of your choice. We want to empower every team member to keep developing their skills.

Throughout the recruitment and onboarding process, we will take time to understand your interests and strengths. Together we will shape a role that truly excites you.
