We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver projects across Ireland, Finland, and Sweden, ensuring they are completed safely, on programme, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage projects across Ireland, Finland, and Sweden, ensuring adherence to programme, budget, and quality standards.
- Ensure adequate and compliant labour resources on all projects, fully aligned with Health & Safety legislation.
- Procure materials, negotiate best value with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery through effective scheduling and tracking.
- Manage all required plant and equipment, ensuring compliance and suitability for purpose.
- Deliver works according to drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
- Implement site inspection and quality assurance procedures to maintain high standards.
- Prepare, review, and update site-specific risk assessments and method statements.
- Collaborate with the Planner to maintain accurate programmes and communicate updates to clients.
- Work with the design department to ensure cost-effective, specification-compliant designs.
- Attend site coordination and progress meetings with Main Contractors and Clients.
- Maintain understanding of project Bills of Quantities in collaboration with the QS team.
- Monitor labour, attendance, and preliminary costs to ensure alignment with project estimates.
- Promptly report variations to the Project Director and Commercial team for timely claims.
- Re-measure completed works and submit to the Contracts Manager.
- Coordinate with suppliers to manage deliveries and conduct on-site quality checks.
- Issue weekly project reports to clients and senior management.
- Foster strong relationships with site operatives, subcontractors, and clients.
- Promote a proactive safety culture and ensure full compliance with legislation.
- Maintain accurate site records, including daily diaries and photographic evidence, to protect the company's contractual position.
- Uphold the company's professional image at all times.
- Work on a rotational basis on project sites, with flexibility for unsocial hours
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in roofing, cladding, or façade projects, ideally across multiple countries.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams.
- Commercial awareness and experience managing project budgets, procurement, and contracts.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work on rotational projects, including occasional unsocial hours
