It all started with an idea in 2021. Initially built to democratize Bitcoin in France, Bitstack has gone from a simple product that invests spare change in bitcoin, to a crypto-native bank bringing a better way to save, spend, and grow money to our 300K+ users. The Role
Bitstack’s engineering team is responsible for building the technology platform that powers our mission. We care about infrastructure that makes it easy to write software that is secure, efficient, and tested. We build incrementally and we deploy every day.

The Role
Bitstack’s engineering team is responsible for building the technology platform that powers our mission. We care about infrastructure that makes it easy to write software that is secure, efficient, and tested. We build incrementally and we deploy every day.
What You'll Be Doing
- Collaborate with a growing Engineering and Product team
- Drive new initiatives with a willingness to challenge the status quo to push the product forward
- Build a well-tested and performant app that communicates with Bitstack’s other infrastructure
- Breathe life into industry-leading User Interfaces
- Ship high quality, scalable, reliable products in a production environment
- Unit test everything
- Work in a highly compliant environment and contribute to the larger Bitcoin ecosystem
- Contribute to the broader tech and open source communities
- Backend: Go, Python
- Frontend: Flutter, Dart, TypeScript, JavaScript
- Databases: SQL (basic DBMS knowledge helpful)
- You've got experience scoping, designing, delivering and supporting projects from end to end
- Worked on shipping multi-platform applications with Flutter or other mobile frameworks with complex state management and with an emphasis on security
- Understand software development lifecycles and mobile application lifecycles
- Understand integration testing frameworks for Flutter or React Native
- Understand accessibility on mobile devices
- Have a deep understanding of Git workflows and automation
- Spectacular analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to self-manage and take ownership of projects
- Fluent English (French is a bonus)
- Introductory Call (20 min) An initial conversation with our recruiter to get to know you better and share more details about the role, the team, and how we work at Bitstack
- System Design (60 min) A discussion focused on how you approach problem-solving, communicate your ideas, and prioritize decisions. This helps us assess your technical depth and ability to design scalable systems
- Take Home Task & Task Review Call (60 min) You’ll receive a practical task to complete in your own time. Once submitted, we’ll schedule a review call to walk through your solution together and explore your thought process in more detail
- Behavioural Interview (60 min) A conversation centered on your experiences, decision-making, and collaboration style. We’ll discuss real-world scenarios to understand how you navigate technical challenges, teamwork, and stakeholder interactions.
