Project
Join our Platform Team, a core part of the Medical Division, where innovation directly impacts patient care and healthcare technology. As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of foundational software components. Your primary responsibility will be the design and implementation of the Board Support Package (BSP)—a critical layer enabling hardware and software integration. You will work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment, contributing to high-impact medical devices and solutions that matter.
Work
In this role, you will be responsible for the specification, development, testing, and documentation of low-level software components—including device drivers, bootloaders, and other hardware-related modules.
You will also support the integration of these components into a production-ready Board Support Package (BSP), enabling seamless interaction between hardware and higher-level software layers.
We are looking for a skilled Embedded Software Engineer with experience in large-scale, complex system design, as well as:
- Proficiency in use of C, U-Boot within the ecosystem of embedded operating systems like Linux or VxWorks.
- Basic understanding of how WIFI and Ethernet stacks work.
- Basic knowledge of C++ is a plus.
- Experience with common build systems (CMake) and continuous integration tools (Jenkins - nice), Git
- Familiarity with test frameworks such as Google Test or CppUnit.
- Proficiency with compilers GCC, Clang.
- Knowledge of common scripting languages; ideally, experience with Python is a plus.
- Experience with Yocto is a plus.
- Familiarity with requirement management (DOORS) is a plus.
- Fluency in English both in written and spoken.
