🔍 We're hiring: ML Engineer / Data Scientist — OT Security

📍 Luxembourg

Mon5 is a Luxembourgish/Italian OT cybersecurity startup protecting industrial networks — PLCs, HMIs, sensors, production systems — across manufacturing, energy, aerospace, and critical infrastructure.

We've raised over €1.7M from top-tier investors including Berkeley SkyDeck, Fit4Start and PrimoSpace.

We're NIS2 and IEC 62443 compliant, Made in Europe, and growing fast.

Luxembourg is our R&D base. That's where we're building the intelligence layer of our platform and that's why we're looking for you 🫵

📌 What you'll work on:

• Anomaly detection on industrial network traffic (time series, protocol-level data)
• Feature engineering on raw network telemetry — packet size, inter-arrival time, frequency patterns
• Working with highly imbalanced datasets, because anomalies are rare by definition
• Building and maintaining ML pipelines — from training to deployment, monitoring, and retraining
• Integrating models into production environments with a DevOps mindset
• Collaborating with OT security engineers to translate operational constraints into model requirements

🎯 What we're looking for:

• Solid experience with anomaly detection and unsupervised / semi-supervised approaches
• Hands-on with time series and network data — you know what inter-arrival time means and why it matters
• Comfortable bringing models to production, not just notebooks
• General DevOps mindset — CI/CD, monitoring, containerisation
• Basic familiarity with OT/ICS protocols (Modbus, Profinet, EtherNet/IP, or similar) — you don't need to be an OT expert, but you need to be able to read the data
• Awareness of industrial constraints: false positives have real operational costs
