We want you to be a part of our team, from Luxembourg, as a Senior VBA Developer | Financial Applications.

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR DAY-TO-DAY?

- Developed and enhanced VBA/Python applications, macros, and Power BI dashboards

- Managed change processes, testing, and deployment of new features

- Collaborated with stakeholders to gather business requirements and ensure alignment

- Produced technical documentation, training materials, and communication plans

- Monitored risks, coordinated with SMEs, and ensured smooth delivery and handover

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

The consultant must demonstrate knowledge in:

- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Data Science, or equivalent experience

- 7+ years of experience in IT development

- Strong expertise in VBA and MS Office macros (Excel, Access)

- Solid knowledge of SQL, XML, XSLT, and modern IT architecture

- Proven project management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities

- Experience in reporting and communication with senior management

- Ability to document clear and complete business requirements

- Strong customer-oriented mindset and change management communication skills

- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills

- Fluent in English (written and spoken)

- Experience with Microsoft Azure

- Experience with Power BI and/or Microsoft Fabric

- Experience in financial services industry

- Knowledge of financial systems such as SWIFT, Murex, Bloomberg (preferred)
