Senior Cloud-Native Java Engineer

We are building a high-performance Order Manager As A Platform to process large-scale payment transactions, including instant payments and SEPA credit transfers. The platform handles millions of transactions daily using modern cloud-native technologies and resilient, scalable architectures.

As a Senior Java Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain mission-critical backend systems in a cloud-native environment. You will work in an agile DevOps team, contributing to high-quality software delivery through automation, testing, and continuous improvement.

• Design, develop, and implement complex backend and online applications
• Build and maintain APIs for internal and external platform use
• Manage order lifecycle: creation, routing, tracking, and reporting
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience of the platform
• Automate deployment, testing, and operational processes
• Provide functional and technical support for applications
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams with iterative delivery and stakeholder feedback

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or similar
• 8-10+ years of Java development experience with architectural mindset
• Strong experience with Java 21, Spring Boot, JAX-RS, Spring Batch, JPA
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes / OpenShift platforms
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Git, Maven, Azure DevOps or similar)
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, and mTLS
• Experience with Cassandra (NoSQL)
• Familiarity with Kafka, Elasticsearch, and S3
• Testing experience with JUnit and Karate
• Knowledge of Linux and Docker
• Strong analytical skills and proactive mindset
• Good communication skills in English
