Back End engineer

We're looking for experienced, self-starting polyglot individuals with a genuine passion for technology. You're keen to involve yourself in all aspects of the software delivery lifecycle and have extensive experience building new systems with modern architecture and technologies.

• Excellent skills with back-end engineering particularly in Go, but transferable skills will be taken into account (e.g. Rust, C#, Kotlin)
• Expertise with building operable services; preferably by embedding technologies such as OpenTelemetry into the entire SDLC
• Experience with deploying applications using GitOps
• Experience with automated testing, test-driven development, behavior-driven development etc.
• Experience building microservice architecture.
• Experience with platform orchestration / automation is a massive plus
• Experience setting up and maintaining build pipelines, preferably in GitHub Actions
• Knowledge of on-prem virtualized networks is a massive plus
• First-hand experience with agile ways of working and building greenfield software
• Experience with Kubernetes / OpenShift (the latter is a plus)
• Dutch language proficiency is required
