About the Position
We are seeking an Assistant HR Business Partner to support a rapidly expanding international organization during a critical transformation phase.
Based in Amsterdam, this role combines hands-on HR operations with strategic HR support. You will play a key role in managing the employee lifecycle, ensuring data accuracy, supporting organizational design, and guiding stakeholders through change initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow into a full HR Business Partner role while gaining exposure to a complex, global environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including pre-boarding, onboarding, offboarding, internal mobility, and absence management
- Support and maintain organizational design and position management within the GBS and Technology functions
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of employee data in Workday, collaborating with global stakeholders
- Provide guidance on HR policies and support on employee-related matters
- Assist in restructuring initiatives and guide stakeholders through change processes
- Partner with data teams to analyze HR data and deliver insights to support decision-making
- Handle employee relations cases and support resolution of local HR matters
- Collaborate with HR colleagues and Talent Partners across different locations to drive HR priorities
- Contribute to and manage HR projects aligned with business needs and strategic priorities
Requirements
- Experience in HR operations, employee relations, or a generalist HR role
- Strong understanding of HR systems and processes (Workday experience is a plus)
- Solid knowledge of Dutch employment law and case management
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Fluency in English is required; Dutch is highly preferred
- A growth mindset with the ambition to develop into an HR Business Partner role
