Data Scientist

• DECSKILL TALENT, through which we provide our clients with an extension to their IT teams;

• DECSKILL BOOST, through which we provide our client with software development models to increase capacity and optimize Time-to-Market, where we create and manage teams that deliver according to their needs, at the desired speed;

• DECSKILL CONNECT through which we provide our client with consulting services, as well as the implementation and management of information technology infrastructures.

We are looking for a Data Scientist for a project based in Lisbon.

Responsibilities:

• Analytical models of medium complexity (regression, classification, clustering, machine learning on structured data 'at rest');
• Implementação em código (Python, R).

Required skills:

• Until 5 years of professional experience;
• Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Engineering or similar;
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases;
• Experience in developing machine learning projects (Python, R or SAS), deploying models to production environments and managing the life cycle of models;
• Experience in the use and deployment of Large Language Models (LLMs);
• Experience in Prompt Engineering and Prompt Design;
• Experience in LangChain and other LLM management frameworks;
• Know-how in Azure OpenAI;
• Google VertexAI know-how (valued);
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps (valued);
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and with global teams;
• Critical analysis and problem-solving skills;
• Knowledge of Agile methodology, JIRA tool and Confluence (valued);
• Good level of written and spoken English.
