We are looking for an IT Project Manager (8+ years of experience) to join a project in the energy sector, in a hybrid model with 2/3 days per week on-site in Lisbon. The start date is as soon as possible.
Key responsibilities
- Manage IT projects supporting renewable energy solutions, including the delivery and implementation of second-level SCADA systems, monitoring platforms, IoT solutions, and asset management systems.
- Lead end-to-end project lifecycle activities, including requirements collection, planning, roadmap definition, budget control, risk management, and quality assurance.
- Ensure technological integration between corporate systems, including Data Lake and SCADA, and the operational environments of renewable energy assets.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across architecture, cybersecurity, data, infrastructure, and operations, as well as external suppliers, ensuring alignment with the Business Unit’s strategy and operational needs.
- Manage vendors and contracts, ensuring technical, financial, and contractual compliance.
- Implement and promote cybersecurity standards, data governance practices, and sector-specific regulatory compliance for energy systems.
- Lead stakeholder management by ensuring strategic alignment, managing expectations, and facilitating transparent communication across technical and business stakeholders.
- Provide clear and timely reporting on progress, milestones, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders, senior management, and steering committees.
- Oversee budgeting and financial control, ensuring cost-efficient delivery and adherence to project financial forecasts.
- Work effectively in dynamic and fast-changing environments, adapting priorities and maintaining high performance under evolving operational conditions.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process optimization, automation, and technology-driven efficiency across renewable energy operations.
Must-Have Requirements
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager with a minimum of 8 years, ideally within Renewable Energy, Utilities, or Industrial sectors.
- English proficiency.
- Availability to work in Lisbon in a hybrid model, with 2/3 days per week in the office.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid approaches.
- Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Confluence, or similar.
