We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager with a strong background in SAP CAP and Node.js to lead our engineering team.
This role involves overseeing technical projects, fostering collaboration, and driving innovation while maintaining industry best practices.
Responsibilities
- Conduct code reviews and ensure features adhere to clean code and design principles
- Monitor applications, troubleshoot issues, and resolve bugs to maintain system integrity
- Write comprehensive technical and user documentation
- Collaborate with the team to track performance and address needs effectively
- Engage with customers and stakeholders to address technical topics and provide metrics to management
- Participate in the setup, improvement, and execution of development processes
- Provide architectural and design decisions to guide technical implementations
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in SAPUI5, BTP, HANA, CAP, Node.js, CI/CD (Jenkins, Piper, Webdriver.io), with a broad technological perspective
- Proven experience leading teams of 10+ people with a focus on cloud technologies, SAP, architecture, and organizational mentoring
- Proficiency in design principles and microservice architecture
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
- Basic understanding of JavaScript and Node.js
- Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), HANA database, and SAP CAP (Java and Node.js)
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
