We are looking for a Test Engineer to join a team working on business-critical software solutions in a highly regulated and reliability-driven environment.

In this role, you will help ensure the quality, stability, and performance of integrated software products by designing and executing robust test strategies.

You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to validate requirements, identify defects, support issue resolution, and contribute to continuous improvement across testing processes.

Your responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements
• Execute manual and/or automated testing activities across functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing
• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate test and issue management tools
• Analyse test results and provide clear reporting, metrics, and recommendations to stakeholders
• Support root cause analysis and validate bug fixes
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Application Owners, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues
• Contribute to release readiness activities and provide quality-related input for go/no-go decisions
• Ensure alignment with internal quality standards, compliance expectations, and industry requirements

What we are looking for

• Strong experience in software testing within structured delivery environments
• Solid understanding of testing methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and V-Model
• Good knowledge of test design techniques
• Experience with manual and/or automated testing tools
• Familiarity with defect management processes and related tools
• Understanding of test automation frameworks, scripting concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and version control
• Comfortable working with APIs, system integrations, databases, and basic SQL
• Knowledge of performance, regression, and security testing principles
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
• Clear communication skills and a proactive, quality-driven mindset
