We are currently looking for a Senior Java Developer to join a new project building a modern application for store staff, aimed at simplifying how item data is searched, managed, and used in daily operations.

You will be part of a small, collaborative team working in an agile (SAFe) setup, delivering high-quality solutions using modern Java and Azure technologies.

Location - Stockholm

Duration - 4 Months + Extensions

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Spring Boot microservices and API-based solutions (REST/OData)

• Build and maintain applications on Azure cloud environments

• Work with Java 17+ to deliver scalable and high-performance solutions

• Integrate with external systems and optimize existing codebases

• Work with SQL/PostgreSQL databases

• Ensure quality through unit and integration testing

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment

Key Requirements

• Strong experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot microservices

• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud technologies

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

• Strong knowledge of SQL/PostgreSQL databases

• Experience with API development and system integrations

• Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments (Jira)

• Fluent in English (Swedish is a plus)

Nice to Have

• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and Azure pipelines

• Knowledge of SAP ERP (S/4HANA)

• Experience in retail or item data systems
