We are currently seeking a highly skilled DPO (Data Protection Officer) to join our company on a part-time basis. As our Data Protection Officer, you will lead United Solutions’ data protection strategy and ensure compliance with GDPR and other applicable privacy regulations. You will act as the primary point of contact for supervisory authorities and data subjects, advising on best practices and mitigating privacy risks across all projects.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor compliance with GDPR and other data protection laws.
  • Advise on data protection obligations and conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
  • Develop and maintain internal privacy policies and training programs.
  • Serve as the contact point for data subjects and regulatory authorities.
  • Oversee incident response and breach notification processes.
  • Maintain records of processing activities and ensure documentation accuracy.
  • Collaborate with engineering and security teams to implement privacy by design and by default.


Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Data Protection Officer.
  • In-depth knowledge of GDPR and other data protection regulations.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, security practices, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Certifications such as CIPP/ECIPM, or equivalent are a plus.
