Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include some or all of the following:
- The Operations Director (OD) will assign new projects to the PM. You will then take ownership of planning, scheduling, installation, and project handover.
- Upon receiving a new job file, you will review the project with the OD to ensure full understanding of the contract requirements. You will also verify that the specified equipment forms a functional and appropriate system, working closely with the Sales team and the customer to address any early-stage queries.
- You will review and implement any predetermined programme of works and delivery schedules. Any changes will be communicated proactively to both the customer and the Sales team. If no schedule has been agreed, you will inform the customer of the proposed programme at the earliest opportunity.
- You will monitor the profitability of all assigned projects and review progress regularly, informing the Operations Manager (OM) of any developments through scheduled Project Reviews.
- You will keep customers and other relevant stakeholders fully informed throughout the project lifecycle. You will also arrange or deliver any necessary customer training and ensure that commissioning and completion certificates are obtained and issued
- You will ensure that all required documentation is prepared and provided in the correct format at project handover.
- You will supply feedback and information to support efficient and accurate customer invoicing for all ongoing projects
- A minimum of two years' Project Management experience, covering a comparable range of project types and values.
- Strong practical knowledge of installing Electronic Security Systems.
- Training in, or a good awareness of, standard forms of contract such as NEC3/4, JCT etc.
- Ability to create and interpret programmes of work using Microsoft Project or similar planning tools.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, Visio, and job costing software.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Norwegian.
