Agile Coach – Scrum Specialist
This position is onsite
Are you experienced in guiding and supporting the adoption of Agile methodologies and practices? Reporting to the Platform Owner, Integration you will ensure a thorough understanding of Agile principles, facilitating Agile ceremonies, and coaching team members to enhance their effectiveness in delivering quality software products and configurations.
As a trusted advisor to leadership, you will help shape Agile transformation initiatives, ensuring that Agile practices are aligned with our strategic goals. By embedding Agile methodologies within the organization, you will facilitate the successful deployment of solutions that create value and improve service delivery for business consumers.

About The Role
Agile Framework Implementation and Coaching
- Provide hands-on coaching to IT Product teams and Platform teams on Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean practices, ensuring integration into daily operations.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to enhance the understanding of Agile practices among team members and encourage active participation in Agile ceremonies.
- Lead Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives with a focus on driving continuous improvement.
- Encourage collaboration during these ceremonies, promoting an environment of trust and accountability.
- Monitor team dynamics and workflows, identifying areas for improvement and providing actionable feedback to enhance collaboration and process efficiency.
- Implement metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team effectiveness and track progress toward Agile goals.
- Inspire teams to adopt a mindset of reflection and experimentation, facilitating discussions on lessons learned and promoting iterative improvements.
- Support the implementation of initiatives stemming from retrospective feedback, guiding teams in their growth.
- Partner with leadership within the BTS group to ensure alignment of Agile transformation initiatives with broader organizational goals and objectives.
- Communicate regularly with senior management about the status of Agile adoption, showcasing successes and outlining areas for further development.
- Develop and provide training resources to educate teams and stakeholders on Agile principles, best practices, and roles within the framework.
- Mentor individuals in the organization, enhancing their understanding of Agile methodologies and encouraging their active involvement in Agile processes.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the overarching Agile transformation strategy for the organization, advocating for best practices and continuous improvement.
- Identify and recommend changes to processes, structures, or roles that better support Agile principles and enhance overall operational effectiveness.
- Bachelors' degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Admin or related experience
- 5+ years' experience in Agile coaching, business analysis, or a related role, with experience implementing Agile methodologies within software development teams.
- Experience in IT Product teams or Platform teams, with an understanding of how Agile enhances the software development lifecycle.
- Prior experience in a leadership role overseeing teams and projects in IT, particularly within the retail sector.
- Certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC), or other Agile-related certifications.
- Proficient in coaching teams on Agile practices, focusing on continuous improvement, team dynamics, and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience articulating complex Agile concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proactive in staying current with industry trends and evolving Agile methodologies, incorporating new insights into coaching practices.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on the status of Agile implementation and team performance, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with leadership to align Agile transformation initiatives with broader organizational goals and facilitate effective decision-making.
