Job Scope

• Administer networks in a heterogeneous environment (production, DR, and test) comprising network and security equipment, as well as telecommunication links.
• Perform hardening, upgrades, and enhancements on IT infrastructure components.
• Monitor, assess, schedule, and implement network and product-specific security vulnerability patches.
• Track and manage obsolescence of IT infrastructure components (network systems).
• Monitor expiry dates and perform renewals of network system passwords and certificates.
• Implement network backup operations to ensure data recoverability and business continuity.
• Execute disaster recovery plans for IT infrastructure (network systems) and conduct regular DR testing and switchover exercises to ensure usability of standby equipment.
• Provide infrastructure (system and network) support to projects in line with project timelines.
• Manage infrastructure enhancement and upgrade projects in accordance with established project management guidelines.
• Provide second-level network support, resolving incidents and problems in line with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Diagnose problems, propose solutions, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
• Schedule and release network system changes to production environments in accordance with change management processes and procedures.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive configuration database/library of all IT infrastructure components used in the production environment.
• Perform infrastructure system and network capacity monitoring and planning.
• Conduct performance tuning to optimize network performance.
• Implement IT service management processes in compliance with corporate security policies and guidelines.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience managing network and security equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, DNS, and NAC.
• Ability to support 24/7 operations.
• Experience in public cloud administration.
• Familiarity with data center operations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the capability to quickly develop solutions balancing technical needs and business impact.
• Customer-oriented mindset.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects effectively.
• Relevant certifications such as:
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
  • Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA)
  • Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE)
  • Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA)
  • Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
  • Fortinet NSE (up to Level 4)
  • Certified Network Defender (CND)
