Scrum Master / Delivery Lead (Technical)

Location: Remote

Role Overview

We are looking for a technically strong Scrum Master / Delivery Lead to facilitate the FHIR working group. This role goes beyond traditional project management—requiring a deep understanding of data modeling, technical delivery milestones, and implementation lifecycle.

You will drive the team through design, planning, and execution phases, ensuring smooth transition into full-scale implementation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Facilitation

• Lead technical working sessions, stand-ups, and design reviews
• Collaborate with BAs, Data Modelers, and internal stakeholders

2. Delivery Management

• Own and drive project roadmap
• Manage backlog using JIRA
• Identify and remove technical dependencies/blockers

3. Progress Reporting

• Track and report team velocity, milestones, and risks
• Provide clear updates to leadership

4. Workgroup Support

• Ensure focus on FHIR structure design, specifications, and data mapping
• Support alignment across technical and functional teams

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Technical Scrum Master / Delivery Lead
• Strong background in data-centric / data engineering projects
• Hands-on experience with JIRA and Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban)
• Strong technical understanding of:
• Data workflows
• Data modeling
• Technical debt

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in:
• Information Technology
• Computer Science
• Or related field
