Requirements

Short company description

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Informatics or equivalent field of study, or equivalent work experience
  • 6-7 years of experience in software testing, including unit, integration, system, and UAT testing for Angular/React and mobile applications

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript, with hands-on experience in React Native
  • Expertise in automation framework design and development from scratch
  • Experience with:

Detox and Appium for mobile testing

Storybook for component testing

Grafana K6 for performance testing

Pact for contract testing

  • Familiarity with the Page Object Model design pattern
  • Knowledge of versioning tools (Git) and cross-browser testing tools (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, AWS, GitHub Actions, etc.)

Additional Knowledge

  • Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence
  • ISTQB or equivalent foundation-level certification is a plus
  • Agile/Scrum methodology experience

Soft Skills

  • Ability to work closely with development teams to ensure code testability and avoid duplication of test coverage
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to testing

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Detox and Jest for React Native mobile applications
  • Design and execute comprehensive test suites, including functional, integration, and regression testing
  • Perform contract testing with Pact to validate API interactions between mobile apps, microservices, and external APIs
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure robust test coverage
  • Troubleshoot issues, report bugs, and verify fixes alongside software developers
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices for SDET and mobile app testing
  • Design and maintain frameworks for performance testing using Grafana K6
  • Conduct code reviews and contribute to testing process improvements
