Data Analyst (Contract)
Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.

Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver analytical solutions
- Query and transform data from large datasets to produce meaningful insights and inform strategic decisions
- Design and build interactive dashboards using Power BI or similar visualization platforms to enable self-service reporting
- Develop comprehensive product analysis focused on player behavior and game features
- Perform quality assurance on reports and dashboards to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability
- Conduct ad hoc data analysis to address emerging business questions and support operational needs
- Construct aggregate tables and data models to support reporting infrastructure
- 3+ years of professional experience in an analytical or data-focused role
- Demonstrated experience building dashboards and reporting solutions
- Background working with large-scale datasets and business intelligence tools
- Portfolio of previous work showcasing analytical projects and visualizations required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field
- Proficiency in SQL for extracting, transforming, and analyzing large datasets
- Experience with Python or PySpark for data manipulation and analysis
- Expertise in designing and developing visualization solutions using Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent enterprise data visualization software
- Strong mathematical, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities
- Solid understanding of basic statistics and analytical methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining strong collaboration with team members
- Location: Remote
- Duration: 3 months
- Pay Range*: $41.50 - $47 per hour
- Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
- Job Status: Non-Exempt
