We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Golang Developer to join our team and contribute to building and maintaining cutting-edge monitoring solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Golang programming and a deep understanding of monitoring products and cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality Golang applications with a focus on reliability and performance
- Build and optimize monitoring products, leveraging tools such as Elastic (ELK, Elastic Observability), Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and New Relic
- Debug and troubleshoot complex system issues, ensuring minimal downtime and high system availability
- Collaborate with distributed teams, ensuring clear communication and efficient workflows
- Contribute to the design and architecture of scalable, cloud-based solutions
- Integrate and manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrators such as Kubernetes
- Support cloud infrastructure at scale, including environments on AWS or GCP
- Work with database technologies like PostgreSQL and MySQL, and messaging queues such as Kafka
- Enhance the monitoring of cloud platforms like Pivotal Cloud Foundry and manage web servers like Apache or Nginx
- Innovate with new technologies and contribute to open-source projects
Requirements
- Proficiency in Golang programming with strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
- 3+ years of experience in system monitoring or developing monitoring products such as ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog
- Expertise in managing and operating containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
- Background in operating cloud environments, with exposure to AWS or GCP
- Knowledge of database technologies, including PostgreSQL or MySQL, and messaging systems like Kafka
- Capability to manage and monitor web servers such as Apache or Nginx
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Background in SRE or DevOps roles
- Familiarity with monitoring or operating Pivotal Cloud Foundry
- Interest in learning and adopting new technologies
- Showcase of contribution to open-source projects
