Senior .NET Engineer | London (Hybrid/Onsite) | £80,000-£90,000 + Package & Bens

We’re partnering with a forward-thinking organisation undergoing a major digital transformation, and they’re looking for a Senior Integration Engineer to play a key role in shaping scalable, high-performance systems.

The Opportunity

As a senior member of the engineering team, you’ll take ownership of complex integration challenges—designing, building, and optimising backend services that connect internal platforms and third-party systems. You’ll collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing and developing backend services, APIs, and integration solutions
• Working with modern tech stacks including C#, .NET, and Azure Cloud
• Driving best practices across code quality, testing, and CI/CD
• Leading on complex integration challenges and system improvements
• Collaborating across teams to deliver seamless, end-to-end solutions
• Enhancing system reliability, scalability, and performance

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years in software engineering, with strong backend & integration experience
• Deep expertise in C#, .NET, and Azure
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and integration patterns
• Experience improving system performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure integration tools (Service Bus, Functions, Event Grid)
• Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging systems
• Background in mobile or product-led digital platforms
