QLeave is looking for two dynamic and experienced Project Managers to join our team as Project Manager, Enterprise Program, Planning and Delivery (AO8). This pivotal senior role will see you lead the delivery of complex, high-risk projects that enhance enterprise resilience and drive effective service delivery to support Queensland workers. The Opportunity
As Project Manager, Enterprise Program, Planning and Delivery, you will manage and coordinate all aspects of enterprise-level projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and compliance with time, cost, quality (benefits), and scope requirements.
You will lead the development of projects across the lifecycle and develop artefacts e.g. project plans, risk, issues and decision registers and frameworks while working collaboratively with project teams to guarantee quality outcomes and best practice adherence.
This position reports through the Director, Enterprise Program, Planning and Delivery and is based at QLeave's Northgate office.
What You'll Do
- Using your demonstrated expertise in delivering high-risk, complex projects, you will:
- Manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring risks and issues are effectively identified, mitigated, and resolved.
- Develop and promote project-management frameworks aligned with best practices (e.g. PRINCE2, PMBoK).
- Deliver projects working within the EPPD Division, for Senior Responsible Officers, providing lead information and concise reporting to ensure alignment to organisational goals.
- Provide expert advice to project teams and stakeholders on technical and strategic aspects of project delivery.
- Support effective program reporting through tools like Microsoft enterprise systems, Smartsheet, or Monday.com.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive project alignment and adoption.
- Facilitate the planning and implementation of change initiatives across business units, ensuring positive outcomes.
- Monitor and report on project-related trends, resources, and expenses to ensure projects remain aligned with organisational goals.
- Mentor team members and stakeholders to promote skills development and enhance governance capability.
- Other duties may include ad-hoc responsibilities as directed by your supervisor or executive leadership team.
You're a results-oriented leader with exceptional communication and project management skills, ready to inspire your team and navigate complexity effectively.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
- High-level expertise in delivering large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects in accordance with best practice methodologies (including PRINCE2, PMBoK, Prosci, etc.).
- Ability to deliver business benefits and outcomes through collaboration with Senior Responsible Officers (SRO's) and stakeholders.
- dvanced ability to negotiate, collaborate, and manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally.
- Excellent conceptual and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to translate strategic objectives into practical delivery.
- Proficiency with project management software such as MS Project, Monday.com, or Smartsheet.
- A demonstrated capacity to mentor, train, and inspire team members and project stakeholders.
- Highly refined communication skills to enable effective reports, briefings, and decision-making support across multidisciplinary teams.
