Frequentis Group with headquarters in Vienna is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. Worldwide, more than 500 customers in some 150 countries with more than 45,000 workstations already trust our know-how and proven experience.
As a project manager you will lead projects in all our business units and be responsible for implementing our software-based solutions for our international customers.
Key Tasks
- Overall commercial, social and technical responsibility (together with the Lead System Engineer) over international customer projects
- Active planning, control and coordination of project resources (budgets, milestones, quality, deadlines, tasks, etc.)
- Ongoing reporting of project status as well as compliance and tracking of agreed goals and project standards
- Participation and application in risk, claim and change management processes
- Internal and external stakeholder management
- Elaboration of change requests and support of the proposal in coordination with Sales
- Completed business or technical education e.g. HTL/HAK
- At least 5 years of professional experience as a project manager (ideally: IT or SW projects)
- Knowledge and practical experience of common PM tools and methods
- Very good English skills, German skills are an advantage
- High level of customer understanding and confident demeanor coupled with independent action and a high level of commitment
- Analytical thinking and good comprehension of technical contexts (telecommunications/IT)
- Strong interpersonal skills and solution-oriented approach to challenges in the team and with the customer
- Project management certification advantageous
- Approx. 10-15 % willingness to travel
