The Cyber Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) is responsible for all phases of the cyber security incident management process, including monitoring, detection, and incident response activities.

What can you expect from this internship?

  • You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced analysts and gain valuable hands-on experience in the field of cyber security.
  • You will be assigned to the CSIRT team. You will have the opportunity to shadow analysts and go through the different monitoring tasks, tools, and processes.
  • After learning the tools and ticketing system, you will get trained to entry-level monitoring assignments. Your mentor will provide you with continued guidance during the assignment.
  • You will be assigned a personal project aligned to your interests and CSIRT needs that will be coordinated together with your mentor.
  • You will take part CSIRT’s weekly team meeting.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must be working towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security Cyber Security, or Computer Forensics.
  • Candidates with deep knowledge in IT and cyber security but without a university degree will also be considered for the position.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Candidates must be fluent or advanced in English (written and spoken).
