As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will play a key role in building a modern React‑based micro‑frontend ecosystem for our banking systems. You’ll work on designing and implementing scalable frontend modules, developing high‑quality user interfaces for internal back‑office applications, and ensuring performance, security, and maintainability across the platform. This role is hands‑on and suited for an engineer who enjoys solving complex frontend challenges in an enterprise environment.
How You Will Make an Impact:
- Develop and implement micro‑frontend solutions using React and modern frontend tooling.
- Build reusable components, UI modules, and shared libraries to support a scalable architecture.
- Contribute to sprint development with high‑quality, maintainable code.
- Collaborate with architects, backend engineers, and product teams to deliver robust frontend features.
- Ensure adherence to performance, security, and accessibility best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of the frontend codebase.
- Support integration with backend services (REST APIs, GraphQL).
- 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
- Expert‑level proficiency in React (hooks, context, state management).
- Hands‑on experience with micro‑frontend architectures (Module Federation, Webpack, Single‑SPA).
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern build tools.
- Solid understanding of CSS, SASS, CSS‑modules, and responsive UI patterns.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing (Vitest, React Testing Library, Playwright), and Git.
- Familiarity with backend integration patterns (REST, GraphQL).
- Understanding of accessibility standards, performance optimization, and secure coding practices.
- Experience working in Agile environments and with DevOps‑oriented workflows.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams.
- Experience in banking or enterprise environments is a plus.
- Experience with agentic development (spec‑kit, bmad‑method) is a plus.
- Professional experience with backend development in Java is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and event‑driven architectures (Kafka) is an advantage.
- Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on the Pan-Baltic level
