Role Definition


Require Hands and Feet support specialist with experience 3-5yrs


Key Responsibilities

1. End‑User Support

  • Provide L1/L2 onsite support for laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
  • Troubleshoot OS issues (Windows/Mac), application errors, performance problems, and connectivity.
  • Assist with new joiner setups (device provisioning, profile setup, asset handover).
  • Perform incident resolution and service request fulfilment within SLA.

2. Hardware & Peripheral Management

  • Replace or upgrade hardware components (RAM, SSD, HDD, batteries, keyboards, etc.).
  • Coordinate warranty claims, vendor support, and hardware repairs.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot monitors, docking stations, keyboards, and other peripherals.

3. Network & Infrastructure Hands‑On

  • Provide physical support for network devices: routers, switches, Wi‑Fi APs, firewalls (rack/stack, patching).
  • Check cable connectivity, patch panel mapping, and LAN/WAN port availability.
  • Assist remote network teams during outages or maintenance (power cycle, cable tracing, port identification).

4. Server Room / Data Center Assistance

(As per access rights & compliance)

  • Perform physical checks on servers, storage devices, UPS, and cooling equipment.
  • Replace server components under remote engineer guidance.
  • Manage power-on/power-off tasks, media handling, and device labeling.

5. Asset & Inventory Management

  • Maintain accurate asset tracking for IT equipment.
  • Manage stock availability of IT peripherals and accessories.
  • Support periodic asset audits and compliance checks.

6. Collaboration & Documentation

  • Work closely with remote support teams, NOC/SOC, and service desk for ticket updates.
  • Document resolutions, technical steps, and known issues.
  • Follow ITIL processes for incident, request, problem, and change management.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in Desktop Support / Field Support / Hands & Feet support.
  • Good understanding of Windows 10/11, O365, basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), VPN, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, endpoint management tools (SCCM, Intune, etc.).
  • Ability to handle physical IT tasks (lifting hardware, cabling, rack mounting).
  • Good knowledge of Network cabling – Ethernet cabling (Copper, Optics) , serial cables etc.
  • Basic knowledge of Network devices routers, switches, Firewalls, Compute devices
  • Capable of identifying ports & devices, connect/Change Ethernet cables between devices, power-on, restart devices as per guidance from remote engineers.
  • Capable of installing devices like router, switches, Esxi,etc.. Connect console cable and follow instructions to configure devices.
  • Capable to execute basic troubleshooting commands like ping, tracert, ipconfig etc on Windows machine.
  • Capable of doing structured cabling
  • Basic familiarity with Network devices command line - boot commands, tftp, etc.
  • Change IP address on Windows operating systems to connect to network.
  • Should carry Laptop, console cable with required drivers and ports on Laptop to connect to console ports on Network devices.
  • Should be able to connect to IDRC/ILO with laptop
  • Changing ILO IP address/Mask and gateway
  • Racking devices and cabling devices



Preferred Certifications

  • CompTIA A+ / Network+
  • ITIL Foundation
  • Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator (MD-100/MD-101)
  • Cisco CCNA (optional)
