We are seeking experienced PLC / Control Systems Engineers to support a series of upcoming automation projects, primarily focused on Siemens S5 PLC system upgrades and migrations. These projects will involve transitioning legacy PLC logic into modern DCS platforms, with a strong preference for candidates who can bridge both environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support migration of legacy Siemens S5 PLC systems to modern platforms
- Translate and convert existing PLC logic into DeltaV DCS architecture
- Perform system audits, documentation review, and code analysis of existing installations
- Support commissioning, testing, and validation of upgraded control systems
- Collaborate with on-site DeltaV engineers for integration and deployment
- Troubleshoot and optimize control systems during project execution
Required Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Siemens S5 PLCs
- 8+ years engineering experience
- Proven track record in PLC migration / upgrade projects
- Ability to interpret and re-engineer legacy PLC code
- Experience in industrial automation environments (e.g., pharma, manufacturing, process industries)
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Emerson DeltaV DCS (desirable but not essential)
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs
- Familiarity with broader control system integration and commissioning
- Strong documentation and communication skills
