Full Stack Software Engineer – Sports betting startup – Lisbon

Fullstack Software Engineer is required for a leading provider of sports betting brokerage software worldwide based in Lisbon. The successful Fullstack Software Engineer will be to joining a small, tight-knit team, working alongside other extremely talented and driven engineers to build and support systematic trading models. The successful Fullstack Software Engineer will be building a real-time sports trading infrastructure that aggregates odds and liquidity from multiple sportsbooks into a single unified platform. As a Fullstack Software Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and deploying scalable API infrastructure and be involved in database design, optimization, and management. You will work closely with a small team of 3-4 engineers to build robust, high-performance backend systems capable of handling high-frequency data flows and real-time execution.

Requirements

• 2+ years of backend development experience in Python / Node.js (and API frameworks) / Typescript
• Experience with Git, GitHub / GitLab or equivalent
• You’re relentless and surpass expectations.
• You’re driven, go above and beyond, and strive for excellence.
• You communicate clearly and effectively.
• Experience in Rust is a big plus

Nice to Have

• Trading experience a plus
• Finance knowledge is a plus
• Sports knowledge is plus
