Responsibilities
Job Description
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
- Support and improve deployment processes using tools like XL Deploy and XL Release.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Unix scripting to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with development teams working with Java and legacy technologies such as Cobol.
- Support and maintain development environments, including tools like Eclipse and Visual Cobol.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of applications.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of DevOps practices, processes, and tooling.
- Work within Agile teams, ensuring smooth integration between development and operations.
- Document processes, configurations, and solutions to support knowledge sharing.
- Proven experience in DevOps or similar roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
- Experience with deployment tools like XL Deploy and XL Release is a plus.
- Solid knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and scripting.
- Familiarity with Java and legacy technologies such as Cobol.
- Experience working with development tools like Eclipse and Visual Cobol is valued.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and collaborative team environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive mindset.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in English (spoken and written).
