Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Machine Learning & AI Agents Engineer, based in the Greater Aveiro Area with some work-from-home flexibility. The Engineer will design, develop, and implement robust machine learning models, with a focus on AI agent systems. Responsibilities include leveraging pattern recognition and neural networks, develop AI agents (Agents-as-a-Service) capable of executing commercial and analytical tasks autonomously. Integrate large language models (LLMs) with data pipelines and external APIs. Implement Explainable AI and privacy mechanisms, including federated learning, RAG, and data masking. Collaborate with the consulting and marketing teams to create applicable AI solutions for ASI clients. 

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Machine Learning concepts, including Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks
• Familiarity with modern ML/AI frameworks, APIs, and libraries
• Demonstrate proven experience in Python and AI frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch. 
• Show expertise in integrating complex AI systems with various SaaS tools
• Possess strong skills in LLM orchestration using tools like LangChain and Relevance.ai. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field is a plus
• Experience with AI-powered platforms or products is an advantage
