Head of Blockchain (Chinese Speaking) - Remote

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design and development of the core protocol of a public blockchain, including key components such as the consensus mechanism, smart contract system, and virtual machine

- Define and execute the technical roadmap for the public blockchain, ensuring alignment between technology strategy and business objectives

- Manage, mentor, and develop a high-caliber technical team, continuously improving overall technical capability

- Drive technological innovation by researching and applying the latest blockchain technologies

- Collaborate with other executives to shape the company’s overall strategy and major technical decisions

- Lead communication and collaboration with external technology partners and the developer community

- Ensure the public blockchain’s security, scalability, and performance, and continuously optimize the system

- Master’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

- Over 10 years of experience in blockchain or related technical fields, including at least 5 years in technical leadership or management roles

- Fluent in Mandarin and English

- Deep understanding of core blockchain technologies, including consensus algorithms, cryptography, and distributed systems

- Must have hands-on experience developing an EVM-based mainnet, with strong proficiency in Solidity and smart contract development

- In-depth knowledge of other public blockchain frameworks such as Cosmos SDK, Substrate, or similar technologies

- Strong problem-solving skills and technical innovation capability

- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide technical teams effectively

- Strong communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

- Up-to-date knowledge of blockchain industry trends, with a forward-looking and strategic mindset

- Able to conduct research on advanced technologies and share insights with the team.
