Product Owner – Exploratory Analytics

Are you a biostatistics-savvy Product Owner passionate about shaping analytics platforms that drive scientific discovery? We are seeking a Product Owner to lead the development of next-generation tools that empower scientists to explore, visualize, and analyze preclinical and clinical datasets effectively.

About the Role

As Product Owner, you will own the vision, roadmap, and backlog for exploratory analytics and computing platforms used across R&D. You will work closely with biostatisticians, data scientists, and research teams, ensuring platforms (Spotfire, Posit/R, sandbox environments) deliver high scientific value, usability, and governance.

This is a high-visibility role requiring scientific credibility - you will translate complex research questions into actionable data solutions, enabling teams to accelerate research and make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for exploratory analytics platforms.
• Translate scientific workflows into clear, actionable product requirements.
• Partner with stakeholders to prioritize initiatives that deliver maximum scientific value.
• Drive platform adoption, access models, and performance, ensuring compliance and governance.
• Explore opportunities for advanced analytics, AI/ML, and knowledge graph integration.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Biomedical Sciences, Bioinformatics, Life Sciences, Data Science, or related field.
• 5+ years as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or BA in analytics, data, or scientific computing platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Spotfire, Posit (RStudio), R, or similar exploratory analytics tools.
• Strong understanding of biostatistics, clinical/preclinical datasets, SDTM, endpoints, biomarkers.
• Credible partner to scientific teams with the ability to translate complex scientific needs into clear product solutions.
• Experience in regulated environments (GxP, data privacy) is a plus.
• Knowledge of knowledge graphs, AI/ML in R&D, or advanced analytics is a strong advantage.
